1. The service
MCFCBot Matchday creates and maintains football pre-match, live-match and post-match threads in supported Reddit communities. It may also update community sidebar widgets.
By installing, configuring or interacting with the app, you agree to these terms and remain subject to Reddit’s terms, rules and community-specific rules.
2. Moderator responsibility
Only authorised community moderators may configure the app. Moderators are responsible for deciding whether the app is suitable for their community, selecting its settings and overseeing its use. Installation does not transfer responsibility for community governance to the app operator.
3. Football information
Scores, events, line-ups, statistics, tables and schedules are obtained from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, corrected later or unavailable. The service is provided for community discussion and general information only. It must not be relied upon for betting, financial decisions, safety-critical decisions or as an official competition record.
4. Acceptable use
You must not attempt to disrupt the app, bypass its access controls, misuse moderator actions, probe stored secrets, overload its providers or use it in a way that violates Reddit’s rules or applicable law.
5. Intellectual property and third-party rights
The app’s original code and presentation remain subject to their applicable ownership and licences. Football names, badges, competition marks, source data and Reddit content remain the property of their respective owners. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.
6. Availability and changes
The app is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent availability, exact update timing or continued access to any third-party data source. Features, providers and supported communities may change, and the service may be suspended or discontinued where necessary.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from unavailable, delayed or inaccurate match information or from interruption of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Privacy
The Matchday privacy policy explains the information processed by the app and forms part of these terms.
9. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the app or applicable requirements. Continued use after an update means the current terms apply. Questions can be sent by modmail to r/mcfcbot.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
